Hello, Sunshine ☀️
Yeah, I'm talking to you, toots!
It’s me, Rosalee, writer of this alleged weekly newsletter, emerging from a very busy month into what, like my color analysis, can be called a Light Spring.
Ah…that feels nice. (Don’t forget to hydrate and wear sunscreen, kiddos.)
This year, I am very behind on what’s new and hot in the way of theater, but I did just buy a ticket to see Moulin Rouge! The Musical again because Megan Thee Stallion is in it through mid-May. As for movie recs, I watched “The Christophers” last night and really enjoyed it – Ian McKellen has still got it, and Michaela Coel has one of the most dazzling faces I’ve ever seen – so if you’re looking for a flix fix, catch it in select theaters starting this Friday, April 10.
Aside from that, enjoy being alive – really, truly relish your aliveness – and find a way to move that body-ody-ody-ody…
Here’s what’s up in New York April 6-12:
